It has spread from the north east which usually used to be the headquarters of sinister attack to the north central. The attack is mostly carried out by various groups such as Boko Haram, Fulani herdsmen and Bandit. The method of the attack ranged from killing, Kidnapping and butchering of humans. The Apa Local Government area in Benue State has been significantly impacted by the ongoing attacks carried out by Fulani herdsmen. These attacks have resulted in the displacement of hundreds of residents, loss of lives, destruction of property, and a breakdown of social order. The issue of Fulani herdsmen attacks in Nigeria has garnered national and international attention due to the scale of the violence and the failure of government authorities to adequately address the situation. The conflict has deep-rooted historical, political, and economic dimensions that must be considered in order to find a lasting resolution.
