Global Politics Affairs successfully convened another impactful edition of its Monthly Policy Dialogue on 1st May 2026, bringing together young leaders, policy enthusiasts, scholars, and engaged citizens for a rich conversation on conflict management, peacebuilding, and national cohesion in Africa.

Held virtually via Zoom, the dialogue explored critical lessons Nigeria can draw from the experiences of Kenya and Rwanda two countries that have faced profound conflict yet pursued pathways toward peace, reconciliation, and national renewal.

The session featured Ms. Naome Sewela, Chairperson of the Pan African International Forum, as Guest Speaker, who delivered insightful reflections on peacebuilding, inclusive leadership, and the importance of citizen-driven approaches to conflict prevention and national healing. Drawing from continental experiences, she highlighted practical lessons relevant to Nigeria’s current security and governance challenges.

The dialogue examined key themes including:
